Pacific Coastal Airlines is seeking a permanent full time IT Coordinator. This position is based out of the South Terminal located near the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond.

Reporting to the Director of IT, the IT Coordinator acts as the first point of contact for IT-related employee questions and concerns. This individual will administer the company's communications systems, conduct testing and auditing, manage employee workstation set ups and changes, coordinate various hardware programs, and troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues.

Occasional travel will be required in this position as well as the ability to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as required. In addition, this role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a RAIC.


  • Act as first point of contact for technical support to employee end-users and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the set up and maintenance of workstations, printers, and printing services.
  • Review and audit reports (e.g. MS Office audit, PCI compliance audit, etc) under the supervision of the Director, IT and the Manager, IT.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve discrepancies in relation to IT audits.
  • Administer phone systems including coordinating phone moves, handling employee mobile phone questions,placing phone orders and coordinating with Telus and Mobile Device Management Company.
  • Coordinate the weekly work activities of outsourced Helpdesk under the supervision of the Director, IT.
  • Coordinate the inventory of all IT equipment
  • Coordinate the Copier program including setting up passwords, coordinating with the Account Manager, ensuring correct serial numbers on equipment, etc.
  • Logging helpdesk support tickets efficiently and with the appropriate sense of urgency, monitoring tickets and ensuring timely completion.
  • Support remote employees with remote access tools/VPN.
  • Provide basic wireless network troubleshooting.
  • Provide support and administration for various IT systems.
  • Assist with IT incident response.
  • Ad hoc IT reporting.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Director, IT.


Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in an IT environment working in a desk side/on-site support environment required
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Technology related field from a recognized University or Community College required
  • Intermediate proficiency in Office 365/Microsoft 365 applications required
  • Experience with Windows desktop
  • Experience with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards preferred
  • Strong knowledge of industry IT and security best practices and trends
  • Strong professional written communication skills
  • Project management education an asset
