We are currently seeking Direct Entry Saab Captains to join our growing operations team in Vancouver. We are excited to welcome some of the most safety and customer service oriented air crew to join our already amazing team.

Pacific Coastal Airlines is headquartered in the South Terminal at the Vancouver International Airport. Under the Pacific Coastal banner, we fly scheduled and charter services between busy international airports, remote destinations, and beautiful communities such as Tofino Bella Bella, and Bella Coola just to name a few. All in the province of beautiful British Columbia. Our operation in Southern Alberta creates an exciting opportunity for candidates desiring to be based in the region as part of the Pacific Coastal team.

Pacific Coastal Airlines Comprehensive Benefits Package

  • A base salary for Direct Entry Captains ranging from $83,347 to $100,000 yearly based on experience
  • Hourly per diem rate of $4.25 per duty hour
  • Guaranteed minimum of 80 flying credits per month
  • 12 Banked Statutory holidays
  • Additional Trainer Pay Premiums for Training Captains
  • 3% matching RRSP plan after completion of probationary period
  • Maximum 18-day schedule

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2500Total Time preferred*
  • 1000 PIC time preferred*
  • *reduced time requirements with 500 + Multi IFR PIC experience
  • *Time requirements reduced with relevant experience
  • Valid Canadian ATPL
  • Prior turbine engine experience required
  • Valid Category 1 Medical Certificate
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card
  • Must be Canadian citizen or Canadian permanent resident or, hold a valid permit to work in Canada
  • Ability to travel to/from the United States without restrictions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted

Preferences will be given to candidates with qualifications beyond the minimum requirements

  • Applicants with Multi PIC Hours
  • Applicants with 2 crew multi engine experience
  • Applicants with Turbine Time in 600/702/703/704/705 operations
