Pacific Coastal Airlines is seeking a IT Support Coordinator to be based out of the South Terminal building at the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond. Reporting to the Director, IT, this individual must live and teach our company values and expected behaviours.  We are seeking candidates who are looking to enjoy a family-oriented, dynamic and rewarding work environment.  We are excited to welcome safety-oriented and customer service minded individuals to continue their career with our growing company.

As a key member of the IT department, the IT Support Coordinator acts as the first point of contact for IT-related employee questions and concerns. This individual will administer the company's communications systems, conduct testing and auditing, manage employee workstation set ups and changes, coordinate the Ricoh program, and troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues.

Occasional travel will be required in this position as well as the ability to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as required. In addition, this role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a RAIC.


  • Act as first point of contact for technical support to employee end-users and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the set up and maintenance of workstations, printers, and printing services.
  • Review and audit reports (e.g. MS Office audit, PCI compliance audit, etc) under the supervision of the Director, IT and the Manager at Nexthop Solutions.
  • Toubleshoot, analyze, and resolve discrepancies in relation to IT audits.
  • Administer phone systems including coordinating phone moves, handling employee mobile phone questions, coordinating with Telus, coordinating and placing phone orders, setting up voicemail boxes, etc.
  • Coordinate the weekly work activities of Nexthop Solutions under the supervisor of the Director, IT.
  • Coordinate print and copy program including setting up passwords, coordinating with staff, ensuring correct serial numbers on equipment, etc.
  • Logging support tickets efficiently and with appropriate sense of urgency, monitoring tickets and ensuring timely completion.
  • Support remote employees with remote access tools/VPN.
  • Maintain Citrix Go Global licenses.
  • May assist with maintenance of hardware and software inventories and coordinate the replacement of IT equipment.
  • Provide wireless network troubleshooting.
  • Provide support and administration for various IT systems.
  • Assist with IT incident response.
  • Ad hoc reporting.


Education & Experience

  • 1 2 years of experience in an IT environment
  • Post-secondary education in an IT-related field
  • Experience with Windows desktop
  • Experience with MS Applications
  • Experience working with Amelia or an Intelysis product is a very strong asset
  • Prior experience working in an administrative support role is a strong asset

  • Capable of lift and carry computer components up to 50 pounds 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain designated security clearance
