Pacific Coastal Airlines is headquartered at the South Terminal building at Vancouver International Airport. Under the Pacific Coastal banner we fly scheduled and charter service between busy international airports, remote destinations, and beautiful communities in the province of British Columbia. Our new operations in Southern Alberta create an exciting opportunity for candidates desiring to be based in the region to join the Pacific Coastal team.

Lifestyle:  Our pilots average 16 days per month, are home most nights, fly out of the communities where they live, and fly diverse and interesting routes primarily within a single time zone. Flight crews are offered confirmed seats on flights under the Pacific Coastal Airlines banner to commute and/or may operate from the communities we serve enabling them to live within the Pacific Coastal Airlines route network with ease. This includes beautiful areas like Victoria, Comox, Campbell River, Powell River, Port Hardy, Cranbrook and more. Although, we are not able to offer confirmed commuting on Pacific Coastal Airlines flights branded as WestJet Link (primarily Southern Alberta routes) we are able to offer space available commuting from anywhere in the route network.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • ATPL with 3000+ total time
  • 2000+ PIC
  • 500+ Multi IFR PIC
  • Prior turbine engine experience required
  • Valid Category 1 Medical Certificate
  • Ability to travel away from home, including overnights
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian Passport or ability to legally work in Canada
  • Ability to travel to/from the United States without restrictions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
